Getting kids back to being kids.
Children with conditions resulting from trauma, disease or a congenital condition receive specialized care from the devoted physiatrists (physicians with special training in functional ability) in our Pediatric Rehabilitation Program. Our mission is to restore skills and mobility to kids who face temporary or permanent physical disabilities or loss of function. We provide our care to children during outpatient visits, inpatient hospital stays and at the bedside for acute care.
Medications and therapies focus on the whole child, addressing not just the medical issues, but also the physical, psychological, social, developmental and vocational concerns involved in the loss of motor skills.
