Cardiac Rehabilitation
Cardiac rehabilitation is a monitored exercise and education program for patients who have experienced a recent heart attack or cardiac event. We are certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation for our work to help prevent recurrence of disease and improve quality of life for patients living with cardiovascular and pulmonary disease. Our rehab program treats patients through:
- Exercise counseling and training: Exercise gets your heart pumping and your entire cardiovascular system working. We show you ways to get your body moving, at your own pace, to make your heart healthier.
- Education and disease management: Getting your heart back to health, and keeping it that way, requires permanent lifestyle changes. We educate you on heart-healthy nutrition and how to manage your personal risk factors.
