Acute Care Therapy
We offer acute care services at VCU Medical Center during your hospital admission for all your rehabilitation needs in the hospital and at the bedside. We work closely with patients who are potentially facing permanent disability due to illness or injury. Our goal is to help each patient reach a level of wellness to get back home and pick right up with their activities of daily living.
Our goal is to provide a safe and reliable discharge to your next level of care. Whether you are transferring to a different medical facility (Inpatient Rehab Facility, Skilled Nursing Home, Long Term Acute Care Hospital, etc.) or you’re going home, we’re committed to setting you up for success wherever you go. We are your therapists, advocates, and cheerleaders both during your admission and beyond!
