The Regional Resource for Burn Care & Recovery

Welcome to the Evans-Haynes Burn Center, the regional resource for the care of acute burns and reconstructive needs of burn survivors and for people injured from fire, chemical, scalds, electrical burns and skin loss injuries as a result from disease. A 16-bed unit with eight-bed ICU and eight non-acute beds, treating more than 600 patients per year including pediatric and adult burn patients.

The Evans-Haynes Burn Center is dedicated to providing excellent interdisciplinary, holistic care for patients and their families across their lifespan, from point of injury until the optimal restoration of function.

Verified Burn Center

We are the only Level I Comprehensive Adult and Pediatric Burn Center in Virginia, a mark of true distinction for a burn center. It shows we provide a high quality of patient care and meet the demanding standards set by the ABA.

Level 1 Trauma Center
