About Breast Imaging

We are among the nation’s premier breast imaging programs. Within a compassionate and caring environment, patients are screened and diagnosed by fellowship-trained staff that only perform breast imaging and diagnostic procedures and technologists that are dedicated solely to mammography. With convenient locations in downtown Richmond and at Stony Point.

VCU Health was the first health system in Richmond to be designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. We are part of an interdisciplinary team at the VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center that includes pathologists, surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, plastic surgeons, nurses and geneticists.
