VCU Health CMH Team Member of the Month

Ursula Butts, Vice President of Patient Care Services for VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital presented Denice Bautista, Registered Nurse on West Wing, the VCU Health CMH STAR Service Team Member of the Month Award for September.  There to congratulate Denice was Mellisa Black, Acute Care Nursing Director.

Denice has been employed at VCU Health CMH for close to two years.  His dedication and work ethic are just two of the qualities that make him a wonderful asset to VCU Health CMH.  The nomination form submitted on his behalf stated, “Denice was very professional and had a wonderful bedside manner.  I was happy to know that he would be my nurse as I had him for three days and each day he was so pleasant to be around & so reassuring.”  “Denice is an amazing professional nurse that always delivers star service to his patients.  He frequently receives compliments for excellent patient centered care that he delivers every day.”

In addition to the award certificate, Denice received a STAR Service lapel pin, letter of commendation from Administration, a $40 gift certificate, and a parking place of her choice for the month.
