Students Make Change for Children
June 07, 2018Students from Hanover County’s Rural Point Elementary School have raised $2,211 for CHF through the Change for Children campaign since 2013. This year, students raised funds through a variety of activities including popcorn sales and a fundraiser at Stevie B’s Pizza, a local restaurant. Organized by the Senior Board of CHF, the Change for Children campaign is a coin collection program that encourages children from area schools to help other children in the community. Since its inception in 1999, the campaign has raised more than $312,000.
