New entrance to open for 12th Street Parking Deck on May 1
Drivers will now enter from Clay Street, which is being converted from a one-way to a two-lane road.

The 12th Street Parking Deck on the VCU Medical Center campus will have a new entrance and address starting on May 1.
The Clay Street exit from the parking deck will be converted into the new entrance. The 12th Street bridge, the current main entrance to the parking area, will be permanently closed.
Right now, Clay Street is one-way. Over the next few weeks, the road will be changed into a two-way to accommodate new traffic patterns. The exit for the parking deck will be on 13th Street.
The 12th Street Parking Deck is one of several parking facilities for patients and visitors to VCU Health’s downtown Richmond medical campus. The others are located in the Adult Outpatient Pavilion and Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU.
New signage will be installed throughout the downtown area directing drivers to the new entrance.
Starting May 1, the new address drivers can use for their GPS or smart phone mapping apps to get the parking deck will be 1213 E. Clay St, Richmond, VA 23219.
