Highlights of the new Adult Outpatient Pavilion include:
- Most outpatient services provided downtown by VCU’s Massey Cancer Center will be consolidated in the new building, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology clinics and oncology infusion.
- The new pavilion will also house medicine infusion, women’s health services and a majority of the specialty outpatient clinics currently located at VCU Health’s Ambulatory Care Center, Nelson Clinic and North Hospital. Also included are an on-site laboratory, pharmacy and medical imaging service.
In addition to providing a space for leading clinical care, the building will feature innovative technology and collaborative spaces to enhance the research and teaching missions of both VCU and VCU Health.
The $383.9 million development is scheduled to open in December 2021.
