Now comes the news, in a statement released by Clark, that he has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
“ALS is a devastating disease,” said Dr. Scott Vota, chairman of the Department of Neurology at VCU School of Medicine and director of the neuromuscular and ALS clinics at VCU. “We can slow it down, but we don't have great treatments right now to make a meaningful impact.” Click here to read more.
