We're committed to keeping you informed
COVID-19 is a rapidly evolving public health situation. VCU Health System is committed to keeping you informed about our response to COVID-19.
We distribute a media advisory for major announcements. We update information on our COVID-19 site daily.
Please note: The Virginia Department of Health (VDH), not individual health care facilities, is the source for information about COVID-19 cases in Virginia.
Our No. 1 priority is safe and quality care. As part of that commitment, we decided to announce when the first positive COVID-19 patient entered our care to assure the community that we are well-prepared to handle this evolving situation. We will not publicly communicate any subsequent COVID-19 cases treated at VCU Health out of respect for patient privacy, and because things can change quickly.
