Kappa Delta (KD) collegians and alumnae welcomed motorcyclists delivering over 1,000 stuffed bears to Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU's (CHoR) Brook Road Campus on Nov. 3 for the 23rd annual KD Tour Day and 36th annual Teddy Bear Run. Over 300 KDs from Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina toured the hospital and presented a check for $25,000 from the Kappa Delta Foundation in honor of the sorority's Founder's Day. CHoR is one of KD's national philanthropies and has benefitted from more than $1.6 million since the 1920s. Organized by the Blue Knights VA III, the annual Teddy Bear Run features bikers traveling, with a police escort and bags of stuffed bears, from Richmond Harley-Davidson in Ashland down Route 1 to CHoR.
