Quail Forever teamed up with Top This Pizza to bless some of the staff at VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital with pizza on Monday.  According to Tom Tanner of the local group of Quail Forever,  their group is dedicated to the conservation of quail, pheasants and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education, and land management policies and programs.

He said the local group discussed what they might be able to do and voted to spend money to blessing the staff at CMH, specifically the Emergency Department and the ICU because they felt those two areas are being the hardest hit, plus many of the Quail Forever group run squad or fire departments in the area.

Brenda Harris with Top This Pizza in Bracey also wanted to help and doubled the amount of money donated by Quail Forever.

According to Ken Kurz, director of marketing and development at VCU Health CMH, "They have already fed members of the staff at CMH twice and will do it at least two more times thanks to Quail Forever and Top This Pizza."
