Hepatobiliary surgery involves surgery of the liver and biliary system, including the bile ducts and gallbladder. Due to its complex nature, hepatobiliary surgery is most successfully performed by specially trained surgeons because of their mastery of the anatomy and physiology of the liver and its major blood vessels.
Hume-Lee’s advanced hepatobiliary surgery program provides adults and children with liver resections and minimally invasive biliary surgery including reconstruction of the hepatic artery, portal vein or bile duct to treat many conditions, including:
