I thought that Dr. Burkett was very nice, and knowledgeable about headaches I have that Dr. Burkett can help me get some relief from my headache.

Dr. Burkett is the best Neurologist that I have seen since 2006. He always takes his time to explain and answer my questions. Shows care and respect and he found ways to reduce my severe migraines from 8-10 per month to almost 0-1 per month. This is knowledge of an expert!

I left with more knowledge than I left with. I have never been fully satisfied with my care team before and I feel confident in asking questions and in the answers I am getting. I don't always hear what I want to hear, but I am always told that facts, and that is why I'm seeing a professional. I'm seeing a Doctor for the answers that I can't find myself. I have trust with my doctors at VCU Health and to me, that is priceless.

Congratulations for an amazing Team! Dr. Burkett was very patient, and took that extra care and time to address my questions and concerns during my visit. He listened and he never made me feel like he had to rush for his next appointment. He explained my medications, knowing what he prescribed and offering communication in case I had concerns before my next visit. Not only he replied on his e-mail "directly" without having a middle person, but his responses were on the same day. I know I am in a good hands, he truly reminds me the doctors from my small little town in Greece where I grew up, where they care for the person/patient no matter if the visit is free or cost by your pocket Is 200 euros+. Thank you, and congratulations again!

Hopefully, (Dr. Burkett) this is the new breed of young physicians who have excellent manners and exhibit personal care for the patients. Dr. Burkett takes ample time to listen and involve me in his advice. If a medical question is not in his area of expertise, he's quick to say so. I like that! I hope VCU/MCV can keep him.

This was first visit with this provider. I was very pleased with his knowledge of my conditions and grateful for his support and guidance. He was very personable and I was very comfortable with him. I think he and I will have a good Doctor/patient relationship
