Brick by brick by brick, help build the new brick plaza!  

An engraved brick is an ideal way to leave your mark, honor someone or memorialize a loved one. Each brick can be engraved with your name or the name of a friend or family member. What a great way to be remembered and to acknowledge special occasions such as a baptism, wedding, graduation or just to support our community hospital. The brick is laser engraved for maintenance-free care and has a lifetime guarantee from the manufacturer. Your gift will help to support the VCU Health Community Memorial Foundation’s efforts to assist the hospital in providing much needed services for all residents in the Southside Virginia and Northern North Carolina.

A personalized brick to be placed in the new brick plaza outside the cafe in the new VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital is just $500 for a 4x8 brick with three lines of 20 characters on each line or you can include a piece of clip-art from a variety of options with three lines of 12 characters each.

You may also purchase an 8x8 brick with up to four lines of type with 20 characters. This brick will look different than the rest of the bricks and there are only 98 available. These bricks are just $1,500 and you may purchase an 8x8 brick with clip-art for the same price. These 8x8 bricks have four lines of text with 12 characters per line.

The new hospital provides health care to thousands of people locally and reduce the need for them to travel during difficult times in their lives, plus offers an added level of invaluable support. We invite you to join us in this effort to ensure that our citizens are afforded every possible comfort of home.
