Volunteer Services
We benefit from the generosity of a robust team of volunteers, who lend their time and energy each day, providing important services in our hospitals and clinics. They volunteer because they care about their community and the thousands of people who walk through our doors each year. Our volunteers are integral members of the VCU Health team, and we appreciate every moment they give us.
Volunteers provide service in a variety of ways. Some opportunities involve interacting directly with patients and visitors and some opportunities are more behind-the-scenes. We have three different volunteer programs for adults (non-students), college students (undergraduate or graduate level), and junior volunteers (high school students).
We also appreciate individuals and groups who complete Virtual Volunteer projects to benefit our patients and their families.
